Injection Molded and Machined Plastic Container Carrying Pucks and Aerosol Tin Can Huggers
PuckLines Bottle Carrier Pucks are being used very successfully to handle irregular shaped and unstable containers on many standard process lines in packaging facilities around the world. The use of our Pucks not only means that standard packaging equipment can be utilised but changeovers times between products can be dramatically reduced normally just involving the substitution of one puck type to another.
On liquid filling lines conveyors carry the containers through each part of the packaging process, stability is paramount and bottles must remain upright throughout the packing operation to ensure maximum line efficiency and output and avoid costly spillages. Ideally a container should have parallel sides with a diameter to height ratio of no more than maximum three to one to ensure reasonable stability.
Much thought has to be given when handling containers which are irregular in shape, unstable and or made from light weight plastic materials such as PET. Difficult bottle and component shapes normally occur when original product designs are created for marketing purposes or when multi part medical devices form part of an assembly.
